Restoring a WebCT Course       Print this page

1. Sign into WebCT.

2. Click on Course Functions on the myWebCT homepage.

3. Check the course you wish to restore.

4. Choose Upload Backup under the Actions menu if you have not already done so.

5. Choose Restore Backup under the Actions menu

6. Click the appropriate button under the Actions menu.

Replace Users - Will replace the students in the current course with the students in the backup.

Update Users - Will add the students in the backup to the students in the course, keeping all students.

Keep Users - This is the one you most likely will want to use. It will keep the users in the current course and ignore users in the backup.

Reset Course - Will remove all users from both the current course and the backup.
